Born in Pavo, GA, Barbara was first introduced to art at an early age by an Aunt. Having contracted Polio, at the early age of two limited her outdoor activities. She placed a focus on creating drawings of their family farm from the front and back porches of her grandparent’s home. As she grew so did her desire for the world of art. Every work of art holds a special story which she expresses using the bright colors of the rainbow.
Barbara received her first art award from one of Boston’s former Mayors. An original oil painting of hers titled, The Last Unicorn, hangs in the summer of home a former Surgeon General and Secretary of Health of the United States.
She holds degrees in Management and currently resides in Massachusetts.
